Rubber Plant is a fast grower, but rather picky about their growing conditions. Rubber Plants like warm temperatures with higher humidity. Consider using a humidifier near your Rubber Plant, or lightly mist your plant with water once a week to raise the humidity around your plant. The leaves are naturally smooth and shiny that accumulate dust over time. Use a damp washcloth to clean your plant's leaves and restore their shine. For even, balanced growth, rotate your plant by a quarter turn once a month.
 
Rubber Plants thrive with at least 6 hours of bright, indirect sunlight per day. Place near an east- facing window, or a few feet from a south or west-facing window for good growing light. Exposure to direct sunlight can cause burning to the leaves.
  
Rubber Plants like consistently moist soil, but not soggy or overly dry. Water when the top couple inches of the soil are dry. To check, stick your finger into the soil to your knuckle. If the soil feels dry and crumbly, it's time to water your plant.
 
Fertilize every other week with a 50/50 solution of liquid fertilizer and water during the growing season (Spring and Summer). Start fertilizing your plant when you first notice new growth in the Spring. Stop fertilizing once you notice growth has slowed or stopped.
  
Occasional pruning can keep your plant's height managable. The best time to prune your plant is at the start of the growing season in the Spring.
